The commercial for Facebook's "Live" feature was designed to introduce and highlight their new live video streaming capability. To demonstrate this feature in a dynamic and engaging way, the project centered around a live-streamed BASE jump featuring professional jumper Matthias Giraud. The aim was to capture the immediacy and excitement of live-action events and showcase the potential of Facebook Live.
In this project, I contributed in several key areas. As a filmer, I captured the live action, focusing on the intensity and thrill of the BASE jump. My role also included operating drones, providing aerial shots that added a dramatic perspective to the footage. In post-production, I was responsible for editing the captured material, ensuring a coherent and impactful narrative flow. Additionally, I handled the compositing of 2D motion graphics, enhancing the visual storytelling and effectively conveying the features and possibilities of Facebook Live.
